A girl... finally!

Our friends just found out that they're having a girl (after months of being told it was a boy)! I'm so excited because it seems like everyone else we know is having boys and I haven't been able to make any cute girly baby clothes. Boy stuff is fun, but I'm not sure if there's anything cuter than ruffles! Here are a couple of things I made for their sweet little girl:

Happy Belated Halloween!

It's only a week or so past Halloween, but I couldn't resist showing off how cute our little boy looked! Adorable!

Busy Busy

So as you have all probably noticed (and many have talked to me about) I have not updated my blog in a while.... sorry! I've kept myself busy with 3 things:

1. Homework... lots and lots of homework... I can't believe that the end of the quarter is next week! Where has the time gone?
2. Sewing... Christmas is coming up... get excited! Elyse and I may also be in a craft fair coming up in December, we're waiting for the final word! P.S.- see the awesome cutting mat on the island? $12. Thank you Joannes!
3. And of course... this handsome little guy! He's such a good baby and getting so big! I can't believe he's almost 3 months old!
So... I hope that holds you all over until I can post more! I'll try to get more pictures up soon, but if that doesn't happen, definitely after finals!

Caught him!

I'm so happy that John was able to catch a picture of Monson smiling! He's been smiling for a little while now, but we never have a camera around and he doesn't do it for very long... so here it is... cute right?!

Girl's Night Out!

So the Symphony of the Southwest had Scott MacIntyre from American Idol perform with them yesterday, and having the awesome brother-in-law that I do that plays with the Symphony, he was able to get tickets for us to go! The concert was awesome! I loved it, and I loved having a night with just the girls!

For my baby shower, my friend Jenna gave me an awesome gift... a free newborn photo shoot! So she took these pictures when he was about a month old and they turned out fabulous! Here's a preview of them...
